Double Blue Review: A look back at the 2018-19 varsity season

ANOTHER STRONG VARSITY sports season has come to a close, and for a third straight season the Bruins have brought home multiple medals. The men's basketball team won their 13th OCAA crown and claimed a second national silver in the past three seasons. They have medalled in three straight seasons and have won eight medals in the last seven - four OCAA gold, two CCAA silver, one CCAA bronze, and one OCAA bronze.

Meanwhile, the men's soccer team also won a pair of medals, snapping a three-year podium drought with an OCAA silver and CCAA bronze, while the men's cross country team won Ontario bronze for a second-straight season. There were also several individual honours, with 24 Bruins claiming 28 accolades - 21 OCAA league all-stars, four OCAA Championship all-stars, three CCAA Championship all-stars, and one OCAA Championship MVP.

As we lead up to the 50th annual Athletic Banquet on April 11, we will take a look back on the achievements of all 10 Sheridan Bruins varsity teams.
