Sheridan Wellness Week: October 9-12

Sheridan Wellness Week: October 9-12

How was your September? Are you feeling tired, stressed, or overwhelmed? If so, taking time to engage in some self-care and re-energize your body, mind, and spirit is a positive step forward. Sheridan Athletics, the Centre for Indigenous Learning and Support, Human Resources, Residence, Sheridan’s Student Union, and Wellness and Counselling, with support from the Centre for Equity and Inclusion, have coordinated more than a dozen events from Oct. 9-12 to help you breathe more easily. We’ve got events that will get you active, provide opportunities for reflection, and most importantly, we have puppies

Beyond our events, anyone who engages with Sheridan Social Media using the hashtag #sheridanwellness will be entered into a draw. Prizes include: Sheridan gear, free fitness classes, a free gym membership for the year, and lots more!

In addition to our online presence and programming, Sheridan’s Wellness Peer Mentors will be canvasing students on all three campuses asking how we can make Sheridan a healthier place to live, work, and learn. The events below are meant to provide participants with the opportunity to engage in physical activity, foster community and belonging, and gain valuable mental health skills. Unless noted all events are open to faculty, staff, and students.

If you require accessibility information, or to request accommodation please contact Leah State at leah.state@sheridancollege.ca or at extension 2986.

*Please note all events are free!
